It was Caroline’s passion for performing, creating and making people smile that lead to her career in Makeup Artistry.  In 1997, while studying Drama and English at the University of Toronto, she decided to enroll in Marvel’s School of Makeup Art.  Upon graduating, she entered the world of professional makeup and has never looked back!

 

Caroline spent over 3 years honing her craft at MAC cosmetics, where she received accolades for her ability to connect with her clients and create timeless looks.  It was her relationship with her clients and seeing how happy and beautiful they felt after having their makeup done that really drove Caroline’s passion.  Through her freelance career she has had the great fortune of working with some of the top hairstylists and photographers in the industry.  Designing makeup, set and wardrobe for creative photo shoots, working as key makeup artist for the L’Oreal hair team at the Allied Beauty Association show and competing as a finalist in the makeup category at the L’Oreal Colour Trophy in Montreal are just a few of her career highlights.

 

Caroline believes that it is the culmination of her education, world travels and people who she has met that have made her the artist she is today.  Always continuing to educate and challenge herself, she stays on top of industry trends through workshops/courses, art, travel, magazines, film and theatre.  “No matter where I am in the world or what I am doing, I always find my way to makeup – or maybe it finds me?  That, I think, is true passion.”
